He chuckled after seeing his friend’s failed attempt at holding the needle-thin sword. “Alright then.” The taller male walked to III’s side, the side in which the boy was not wielding his weapon, the side which probably held his dominant hand.
“The foil I gave you is quite different from the swords that I normally use, not just in appearance.” He gently grabbed the pink-haired male’s hand and changed the position of the weapon, so that its button faced in front of both of them.
“This kind is mostly for thrusting and hitting someone in the torso. You mostly lunge in front of you when you are striking. Uhh…” He moved behind the boy, his right hand still on III’s. Lucius then leaned against the kid, sharply pulling his arm forward as he did so. He was careful not to let III fall down from that example. “Kinda like that, except you would have to move your feet a little. “
“I see…” He tried not to be distracted by Lucius getting so close and leaning against him. “I think I’m starting to understand. It’ll take some practice, though.”
Practicing with the sword was fun and III found himself really beginning to get into it. Surprisingly, he was able to catch on quite quickly. After a while, he was even able to get past Lucius’s defense and lightly tap him with it.
“What do you think?” he asked eagerly, then teased, “I might even be able to beat you if you don’t watch out~”
Lucius was surprised. He did not expect the boy to learn so quickly. To be able to land a hit on him… “Impressive, to say the least.” The strawberry-haired male’s optimism was really getting onto him.
He proceeded to pull on III’s cheek, gently of course. “Hey there,” he teased jokingly. “Let’s not get too head of ourselves, shall we?”
